Phil Collins announces her retirement

   Phil Collins announced that it was going to take its retirement. In a maintenance granted to the British daily newspaper The Times, the old beater and singer of Genesis indicate that it will not record any more a new album and will not occur any more on
  On the other hand, the artist will continue to write for the simple one and good reason which it cannot be prevented some.

57 years old, Phil Collins is obviously known to have been the beater then the singer of the progressive rock group Genesis. In the Eighties, it started a career solo while continuing its collaboration with the group until 1996. Among its most famous tubes appear in particular In the Air Tonight, Sussudio, Another Day in Paradise and You Can' T Hurry Love.

The artist also was success with his film original soundtracks, inter alia, for Against All Odds (1984) and Tarzan (1999).

The last year, the Genesis group had been reformed - with Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford but without Peter Gabriel- for a series of 22 concerts, entitled Turn It One Again: The Turn, with a service with the Park of the Princes and the Gerland stage in Lyon. This round was the subject of an double album live, Live Over Europe 2007. The DVD of this round should leave before long.
